Definitions by JayNew

A self-descriptive term used by some adults to express a positive, affirming view of age-gap relationships between consenting adults. It reflects the belief that meaningful romantic, emotional, or sexual connections need not be constrained by conventional expectations about partners being close in age, and that adults should be free to form relationships across age differences when those relationships are consensual, respectful, and equitable.
They describe themselves as age queer because they reject the idea that romantic compatibility depends on partners being in the same age group.
