The best way to do it is that the "thor guy" is reaching his arm out, and the other (enslaved-like) guy, is making a violent move in order to make the object like it's attracted by the hand, and giving him the feeling that the "thor guy" is controlling it, and is worthy to hold the object. Only takes a few seconds, if the giving guy isn't a stubborn.
