The collection of feces for use later in fetishistic scat play. The activity involves visiting areas where people frequently defecate, usually public toilets, with a view to finding unflushed feces. The feces is 'farmed' or collected for later use in scat related sexual activities such as smearing or even consumption. Scat farming may also involve deliberately causing toilets to block or otherwise malfunction. Considered by most in the BDSM scene to be edge play, due in large part to the health risks associated with feces from persons unknown.
The public toilets in the busy train station were one of his most productive scat farming locations.
