Leaving absolutely everything behind to start a new life, including burning any social media accounts associated with friends or acquaintances, potentially leaving most belongings behind, no forwarding address. It’s a Mega Exit on the scale of a self-executed Witness Protection Program (minus new identity/name/social security number).

After the university asked me to take a semester off and I set the stadium bleachers on fire in a fit of impotent rage, I realized it was time for a megxit.
