Being naive generally means not to think enough. Naive persons often show a certain ignorance or simplicity when thinking about a problem. This could be due to lack of experience, information or ability to make judgments.
Some people say all Americans are ignorant and naive, however, this is a naive view itself.

Some naive teenagers think nothing can happen to them when they leave their name and address in a chatbox.

John thinks their is no corruption in politics, this is naive.

A lot of children are naive, however, people of all ages can be naive, simply due to a lack of experience or a lack of information.
