Shift-adjacent

1) Someone who hasn't taken part in a deeply integrative, experiential journey into sustainable practices and regenerative design but is so immersed in the same guiding values, and so often surrounded by people who have they may as well have.

2) Someone who thinks that they've picked up on the 'vibes' over time so they don't actually need to do the work, overusing the word 'osmosis' to justify this - and because it sounds kinda permaculturey.
"What do you mean Freddie hasn't done Shift???"
"I know right, he's just Shift-adjacent."

"Whaaat, I really had you down as someone who'd done Shift!"
"shrug that's why I'm Shift-adjacent..."

"Do you know how to build a roundhouse?"
"Woah woah, I'm only Shift-adjacent!"
