When a product is advertised by the seller as being able to perform actions that were thought to be unachievable / impossible and when it arrives it can’t do the unachievable / impossible thing.

When you are sold something that the seller promises can do a task which was previously thought to be impossible but when it arrives it is not much different to the previously available products and can’t do anything special.
