A demp is an American English phrase commonly used to describe an educated white person who advocates for social causes such as LGBT Rights, Racial Issues, and Immigration, not out of genuinely believing in these causes but rather to feel a sense of importance and morality, and to look down upon fellow white people for not doing the same.
