A hipster who buys a Carhartt brand beanie in hopes of making it "work". These fashionable men and women also like to indulge in countless selfies with the hat, posting the photos on Instagram and every other social network.

Guy A: "Hey dude, my heads cold." Guy B: "Carhartt beanies are all the rage bro! You should buy one, take a few selfies and make a statement!" Guy A: "Whoa. I can't wait to be apart of this. I too can be a Carhipstter!"
