An insult used by traders and the investment community for whenever someone egregiously short-sells a stock/commodity/cryptocurrency to the point of insolvency.

"Hey did you see that huge 3000 BTC short at $12,500 get liquidated at $15,000?"
"Yea bro, what a Melvin, everybody knows that all bears die."
