Abrakachalla

Derives from the dutch slang word “challa” (meaning gone, left or lost etc.) and the traditional magic phrase abrakadabra.

Both of them fused into ‘abrakachalla’ defines that something is magically missing or lost.
Ik keek heel even om en meteen was mijn telefoon abrakachalla gewoon.

Noh man, Vincent is er niet hij is allang abrakachalla.

Get the Abrakachalla mug.

Yve’d

Derives from the Dutch word Yve. Meaning to cancel or decline. When a person makes an appointment with you, and he skips it at the last moment for an other appointment he made on the same day.

In such a case you most likely got Yve’d.
Example 1:
Person 1: Hey bro, I just got Yve’d. Wtf.
Person 2: Dont worry dude, he is pulling an Yve on anyone he knows.

Example 2:
Weren’t you coming with us like you said you would?”
Nah man I have to pull an Yve for this, sorry man maybe next time.
