Slang derived from gangsters in involvment with fire arm violence, meaning too cock back, or ready a fire arm for shooting.
Used in vincent staple’s ‘65 Hunnid’:
“Bang the set before you blow, don’t stop til he drops, don’t shoot for the sky or aim for his soles.”

1: Is that him on the corner?
2: Thats the nigga, are you ready?
1: Im straight.
2: Alright, bang the set and lets rock.
