1 definition by Greg Bronstein, Sean Fitzgerald

A merging of 'fake' and 'bogus.' Used to describe something as exceptionally false, being both of false origin, and too absurd to be mistaken for valid. To deem someone's argument or assertion 'flogus' is to denigrate it to the lowest level of completely unintellectual discourse.

Can be used to describe something so unusual, outstanding, or cool, that it would never be believed when explained to one's friends
1. "Dude, that story is flogus!" (Negative)

2. "Dude, that wave was totally flogus!"
(Positive)
***In this use can be spelled 'phlogus,' thus adding a degree of 'phatness' to the mess.
