briggs-graine

Migraine-like symptoms induced by a coworker’s continuous chatter during an eight hour shift without regard for quiet time. Often enabled by a second coworker who feigns interest by asking follow up questions and/or laughs along with the original offender. Symptoms can include intense headache, throbbing temples, and bleeding ears.
“Do you have any extra-strength aspirin? I have a briggs-graine and we are only three and a half hours into the shift. How can one person keep talking for that long?”
