ketman

Paying lip-service to an idea or ideology while secretly being opposed to it. Originally used of secret dissenters from Islam, it was applied by Czeslaw Milosz in his 1953 book The Captive Mind to those inwardly opposing Communist orthodoxy while appearing to comply with it dictates.
