Gorilla Tag Syndrome

A contagious phenomenon in which an individual or group, typically competitive players in the VR game "Gorilla Tag", share similar non-medical symptoms with others in the competitive community. These may include;

- starting and ending online relationships every 1-7 days disregarding morals due to being fickle
- masking anger or rage with glee, which may blind some to dox another impulsively
- pretending to follow Christian belief, or abusing LGBTQ+ labels for attention
- relentlessly lashing out on others for little to no reason
- lie about a life-threatening disease or injury for sympathy, which may expand to faking their own death
Player 1: "Did you hear that Player 4 cheated on Player 5?"
Player 2: "What about Player 5's heart failure?"
Player 3: "Didn't Player 4 get doxed?"
Dr. Diagnose: "That's Gorilla Tag syndrome."
