A unit of erectile strength that determines the intensity of an erection. A Roche unit of 0 means that the penis is perpendicular to the testicles, while a Roche unit of -10 indicates severe erectile dysfunction (see floppulant). A Roche unit of 10 means that vigorous masturbation is necessary to prevent irreparable damage to the phallus.
