OC Effect 

When a chick has those super big sunglasses on that were made popular by the old T.V. show "The OC" and therefore makes her look hot when she is questionably ugly because half of her face is covered by sunglasses.

That chick looks pretty hot.

Yeah but you never know, she has the OC effect.
