UVA

UVA (or the University of Virginia) is a fairly average university in Charlottesville, Virginia. There are some smart students, some dumb ones, and a vast majority of average or mediocre students who did pretty good in high school. The smart students, professors, and athletes give the university it's prestige, while the dumb students give the university it's reputation as a school full of spoiled assholes. In reality, it's somewhere between these two extremes. UVA on your resume is neither a plus nor a minus. However, since it's quite a large public university, anyone can find likeminded people there.

Mom: How would you feel if our son went to UVA?
Dad: That would be fine.
