Chable

A chable is a combination of a ‘chair’ and ‘table’. They are often found in classrooms or university lecture theatres. The table portion of the chable lifts up so the student can sit down and then close it once seated.
- ‘Have a seat in your chables, thanks guys.’
- ‘Grab a chair.’ ‘Nah, I prefer to sit in a chable.’
- ‘Wow, Miss Green really loves her chables.’
