1. The feeling of disappointment, particularly following initial contentment or satisfaction, upon learning that a movie one loves is being shown on television, but has been dubbed in Spanish.

-Verb
1. The act of inflicting spanguish or suffering from spanguish.

Origin: Florida, 2010. From Spanish, (EspaƱa) + German (angst) or English (anguish). Alt. spelling, "Spainguish"
n. I was excited to find Rocky IV on television, but my elation gave way to bitter spanguish when I realized it was being shown in Spanish.

v. Jimmy was spanguished to learn Die Hard was in Spanish and nothing else was on.
