Spittin Bars 

A musical term associated with rap music. Rappers would usually recite a 16 bar verse before the hook of a song. The term has now been redefined to describe the manner in which certain individuals engage in conversation.

'I saw this one chick bruv and she was serious....yeh man i was there for time just spittin bars'
