Unwell, slightly disoriented, off-colour. The uncomfortable sensation just before plunging into sickness. Possibly historically related to the physical discomfort experienced by allied troops in the occupation of the tropical island of Guam, where malaria, dysentery, dengue fever and cholrea were rife.
