To improvise or use a substitute for something you need, but do not have access to.

I had to pimpravise my recipe, it called for shredded cheese, but all I had was the processed cheese in the macaroni dinner box.

I wanted my ex, but since he didn't want me I had to pimpravise and start texting his replacement.
