Death Star 

A synonym for the IBM DeskStar harddrive. Just before they sold their HD division to Hitachi, IBM produced a large batch of faulty DeskStars. They were so prone to crashing that they were quickly renamed to Death Stars.

"O my god, my harddisk crashed!", "What did you expect? You bought yourself a Death Star!"
