R party

A gathering of any number of randoms that centers around the sharing of software. So called because oftentimes the software in question is pirated.

The term borrows heavily on otomatopeia - specifically the use of Arr.

You keep telling yourself that

A response to a possibly false statement that one gives when the party being responded to is certainly deluding themselves. Roughly, "If you keep saying that, you might actually start to believe it".

"The price of gasoline is going to go down tomorrow," quipped Sue. Joe simply responded, "You keep telling yourself that."

1) Notional sound a feline makes when they fall over sideways - usually intentionally, for whatever reason cats do things like that.

2) The act of intentionally falling over sideways, usually as done by a cat.

Note, both definitions apply to all manner of cats, from tigers to sand cats.

The theater audience thought it was cute when they saw the lion cub flomp.
