Profauxtionals" (noun) A mockingly sophisticated term blending "professionals" and "faux," referring to individuals who hold prestigious positions despite a glaring lack of skill, merit, or competence. Typically placed due to nepotism, cronyism, or other non-merit-based factors, profauxtionals are often arrogant in their ineptitude and ego while strictly adhering to protocol to mask their shortcomings
