Balling or ballin' backwards is best defined as losing ground, wasting time and/or resources, failing to progress in life and instead decreasing in power and influence while thinking you are being wise and progressing.
ALSO Making poor decisions which ultimately place you in a position of losing the progress you've have made in life or love. Said losses may be financial, emotional, social, physical, mental, and more. The end result is that you are playing the Game of Life very badly and not moving forward to be greater later, but instead standing still while others move past you, or actually exhibiting behaviors and making choices that make you lose ground.

After they broke up, Sheila was doing well - went back o school, bot a better job and was planning to buy a house. But when Malik came begging she let him back into her life and now she has no education, got evicted, and he spent the money she'd saved on some wild scheme to "start a business." Used primarily as a gender-based slur against males that display weakness, softness, fear, or girlish/effeminate behaviors; a male that refuses to stand up and take responsibility for his actions like a man. Generally a male that exhibits behaviors, opinions, words or actions not normally associated with strong men such as nagging, whining, pleading, begging, blaming others for his failures or lackings. Prone to attempt to justify the bitch in him by saying things like "but women do it too!" or "but what about what women do!"
After a breakup the bitch made male is still whining and crying on You Tube about how ALL women don't want a "good man" like him years later.

A mental state of obsession, originating from powerful, deeply satisfying sexual interactions that cause a woman with a weak mind to believe that she is in love. An emotional state where a woman is crazy about and strongly attached to a male based on the sex he "whips" on her, to the point that even a dude with nothing to offer, who mistreats and emotionally/mentally/physically abuses her, and who has no good sense will still be loved by this woman because of the sex. No matter how raggedy ass he is, she still wants to be with him anyway.
Sherry knows that dude she is messing with cheats on her and lies every chance he gets, but she ain't going nowhere cause she is dick whipped like a mofo.
