A debilitating sickness which can present a wide range if symptoms which include: Unsightly buboes, bloating, flatulence resulting from impaired operation of the gastro-intestinal tract, meningial swellings resulting in reduced cognitive performance and which may lead to mental retardation in later stages of the disease, discoloration of epithelial tissue, especially at the extremities.
