Shaggos

A New York City band, popular in the 90s.
On that fateful day, a couple of blocks away, on the other side of the street, was the infamous, infamous Tally Ho. A former nightclub that was turned into a dance club, The Shaggos sold out every performance and was one of the most popular clubs in New York City. The Shaggos was the place where "rock stars" hung out, where the 'new' fashions of the '60s, '70s and '80s were reenvisioned and re-enacted by a band you might already know as 'The Shaggos' .

For a while, you'd go there and walk up to the front of The Shaggos' stage, find the guy who was playing the guitar for The Shaggos then you'd sit right next to him, and as you'd sit there, you'd begin tapping away at the guitar, or at least attempt to do it, playing along with his playing
