Thiraq
Greater Third Ward, a neighborhood hosting the University of Houston, is one of the most dangerous places in Houston. It is nicknamed "Thiraq" or "Third Wardistan" since on any given day, it is actually as violent as Iraq or Afghanistan. Some of the shenanigans of the local inhabitants (Thiraqis) will spill onto the university quite often.
