"Nothing Lasts Forever" a sporting term coined originally in 2020 to refer to the league promotion aspirations of Leeds United F.C. but can also be used to describe a goal or achievement that starts off looking as if it will be accomplished, only for it to crumble very suddenly into a disappointing failure.
