lucy

A single cigarette taken from a pack by the retailer. Often found in areas of urban deprivation where people can't afford a full pack, or the call of under age smokers to passing members of the public. Derived from a contraction of 'loose one' or 'loosey'.

Thirteen year old to customer entering a shop: "Ay mate, will yah gerrus a lucy"
