A word generally used by an overly gay man; used affectionatly to get the attention of his female companions. A pet name without the sexual connotation.

"Hey shnucomes, do you want to go tanning and then get some bubble tea?"

"No no shnucomes, Lindsey Lohan is OUT of rehab."
