Birthsplaining

The act of someone born in a country confidently explaining to immigrants or would-be immigrants how “easy” legal immigration is, usually without any firsthand experience of the process, and often ignoring its complexity, cost, and bureaucracy.

“After moving here, I got tired of all the birthsplaining from people who’ve never even filled out a visa form.”
