Priancé

Pre-fiancé. Someone who you are in a serious relationship with, who you intend to marry, but have not formally gotten engaged to yet. A term used when “boyfriend” does not feel significant enough to represent your love and connection.

Girl 1: Is this your boyfriend?
Girl 2: This is Matthew, my priancé!
Girl 1: He proposed?!
Girl 2: Not yet, but he will!
