The act of slowly drinking one-self to death due to intractable depression or disease. Named after the Nicolas Cage and Elisabeth Shue film of the same name.

Charlie was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Instead of fight a losing battle, he decided he's leaving Las Vegas.
