CAT BURGLAR 

A person that goes around and steals catalytic converters. Usually at night and most of the time undetected.

I got in my car this morning and discovered some cat burglar stole my catalytic converter (CAT). (From experience!).

Most shops refer to catalytic converters as a "CAT" , abbreviated name.

DIPLOMATIC 

"PRESENT DAY DEFINITION".....One who is generally dishonest, deceitful, vengeful, able to lie to achieve personal gain. To cover up facts and distort the truth to achieve a selfish objective.

The lawyer was very diplomatic in presenting the case to the jury, resulting in an acquittal.

phone hovering 

The act of hanging around the home telephone, not doing much more than waiting for a "call-back" as promissed by the recorded message you left; the computer generated "we will call you back with-in XX minutes; or even if you happen to get a "live person", who states "I'll get right back to you"! Hovering or remaining near the phone so as not to miss a call, which in most cases, NEVER HAPPENS! Usually from a GOVERNMENT AGENCY, but not limited to that. A cordless phone would be a "Hoverphone"

I spent my whole day "PHONE HOVERING" to find out if my Health Coverage is in effect.
