A term coined by an Elton John fan community in 2019 that gained wider usage shortly after, meaning something Elton John related in nature. Similar to the terms kafkaesque and dalinian.

A passionate fan of the artist Elton John, the term originating in Elton John fan club newsletters during the early-mid 1970s.

“Eltonites are crazy, man. What do you mean you can tell what year a photo of Elton John is from just by glancing at it?”
