The term used when a girl or boy, more occasionally a girl, talks to a friend in an obsessive and excited manner about their current crush.

Girl A: "Do you mind if I crush-gush?"
Girl B: "Not at all."
Girl A: Okay, so, oh my God, I actually HUGGED HIM today!!!! Blah blah blah.
