brikbat

adjective. Origin - Norfolk, England

1. A casual style of attire, ripped, torn garments, grubby but cool.

2. An object may be brikbat if it is old or a bit grubby, and has retained it's rustic character.
a) Look at this cool old fishing knife granpa gave me! It's well brikbat. Proper solid though, too.

b) Tribe of Brikbat are playing in The Queen Charlotte in Norwich on 21/03/08. I'm well up for it. It's gonna be havin it!
