scali

A word to describe a sandwich (typically a wrap) that falls apart in your hand. This type of sandwich is very sloppy and usually does not contain a cut down the middle, making it extremely difficult to eat. In addition, this type of sandwich is too large to comfortably fit in your mouth and is wrapped in a quasi-foil paper--a cunning attempt to trick the typical wrap-eater into thinking it will peel off cleanly and easily, which is never the case.
I won't buy another sandwich from that deli, it was way too scali last time.
