Scraum

verb : To crawl, manounver oneself, or otherwise fidget while in a roughly horizontal posture. Often used with negative connotations of either children getting their clothes dirty, or adults attempting to perform a task in a confined low-level space.

Probably: Northern England/ East Midlands. Around Sheffield.
