plantol

A combination of the English word "plant" and the stem "ol" from " olókliros", the Greek word for "whole". A plantol diet refers to unprocessed or minimally processed whole plant based foods as the basis of human nutrition. It is essentially synonymous with a Whole-Food Plant Based diet, with whole (nutritional or medicinal) herbs included.

The naturopath recommended a plantol diet to Jim as strategy to help him overcome his hypertension.
