Avigayil (noun): A biblical name meaning “father’s joy,” but in modern Jewish circles, often refers to that one girl at the Shabbat table who can quote Rashi and make you rethink your stance on keeping things kosher in the bedroom. Known for turning Talmudic debates into flirtation and making you question whether the eruv really extends to her apartment.
