Variant of umver, or vice-versa. Said when discovering someone doing something surprising, or something that might get them in trouble.

In Rapid City it was umver. In Bismarck it was ahver. Almost never written. Might be spelled aver, as in, I aver? Both always spondaic, accent on both syllables: AH! VER! Sometimes said by children in chorus.
You took the book? Ahver! You'd better give it back!
