Titanic Theory

A concept suggesting that what is visible or commonly understood about a situation represents only a small fraction of a much larger, hidden reality. Inspired by the sinking of the Titanic, where the visible tip of the iceberg was insignificant compared to the massive structure beneath the surface, the theory is used to describe incomplete knowledge, unseen complexity, or hidden depth in any context.
“Yeah, it looked simple at first, but it turned into Titanic Theory real quick—way more going on beneath the surface than anyone expected.”
