Dropping the ego bomb

When someone constantly shouts out their own name to become center of attention or create moments of discomfort or awkwardness during group conversation or on a night out where there are lots of unfamiliar people within hearing distance.....also referred to as the ego shout out

Guy 1 : shall we stay or go onto the next pub
Guy 2 : let's stay here and have one more

Guy 3 : BEN MAY!
Guy 1 : ye ok one more

Guy 3 : BEN MAY!
Guy 2 : he dropping the ego bomb again! Tut!
