v. the act of crushing or pulverizing the spirit of another human being; to visibly destroy a person with words, usually in a public setting in order to maximize the potential for humiliation; getting someone to trust you just before you shiv them in the lower abdomen, preferably in a vital organ, or one that bleeds profusely such as the spleen
