Touch (toit)

The Irish Gaelic word for 'cigarette', which is "toitín", gets shortened to "toit" in coversation, which is pronounced exactly like the English word "touch".

So non-Irish speakers get alarmed when they hear the line, "Do you want to go out for a touch?"
"You goin' out for a toit?"

"Aye, why not."
